FAQ5: Can I buy a mooring in Lympstone?
No. No moorings are privately owned on LFHA property.
However the Harbour Board regulates the issue of annual licenses for the laying of moorings under proscribed conditions.
Members laying a mooring for the first time pay a non-returnable registration fee of £50, together with an annual license fee, dependent on moored boat length.
The fees for such licenses are set & collected annually
All the equipment associated with a mooring is the responsibility of the licensee at all times - procurement, laying, regular maintenance and renewal.
