Boat Storage is available to registered Association members who shall be permanent residents of Lympstone Parish, subject to availability of space.
All vessels using LFHA property shall be licensed by the Harbour Board and display a current license label.
New limits to the number of vessels per type per household come into force from April 2023.
Canoes, kayaks & surfboards can be accommodated only if there is available space on the racks.
Tenders, less than 3.5m overall, not only to licensed moored vessels, are permitted on the hardstanding over summer. Most are expected to be removed from the Harbour over winter. They may also be stored in the tidal harbour or on beach or swing moorings.
Sailing Dinghies with launching trolleys are permitted on the hardstanding during the summer season limited by available space.
Inflatable Stand-Up Paddleboards (ISUPs) may not be stored at the Harbour and users are encouraged to launch from the Beach when boating activity takes place on the slipway.

Summer: LFHA owns the fundus within its property and we currently have no restriction on licensing moorings. Moorings are tidal & drying so bilge keelers are better suited.
Winter: most cruisers are stored on the hardstanding over winter, but we currently operate near the limit of capacity. There are limits to the size and type of vessel that can be craned, whilst owners with trailers can launch & retrieve their vessels either for storage on the hardstanding (at certain times) or for storage away from the Harbour. Some can also be berthed in the tidal harbour (wet harbour) over winter. The mooring of such vessels over winter is not prohibited, but not recommended.
Transfer from land to water: there are two ways that cruisers can transition from land to water:
1 Crane – hired by LFHA twice a year on specific dates, costs shared.
2 DIY launching & recovery from the slipway using a road trailer, from a day or so after Autumn craning until a day or so before Spring craning.
